Instructions

Add the lavender essential oil, coconut carrier oil and polysorbate 20 to the plastic spray bottle. These ingredients can easily be found in a craft and hobby supply store. The polysorbate 20, an emulsifier, allows the oil in this recipe to mix with the water, which otherwise won't happen.

    • 2

Pour the lavender hydrosol into the spray bottle. Floral hydrosols are water infusions taken from the essential oil extraction process. This ingredient can be found in a craft supply store like the others in this recipe.

Secure the cap on the spray bottle and shake it vigorously for about a minute, making sure to thoroughly disperse the ingredients. The end result is a rich, highly fragrant body spray that doesn't contain skin-drying ingredients like alcohol.
