Cover a flat surface, such as a table or countertop, with old newspapers.
Take a small handful of Spanish moss, another of dried pine needles, and another of corn silks and place them on the newspaper in front of you.
Mix the three ingredients together by gently tearing clumps from one handful and adding it to another. Continue to mix until they are evenly distributed into one large pile.
Pour about 2 tbsp. liquid glue onto the pile and mix it evenly by rolling the pile around in the glue and mashing it all together with your hands.
Mold the pile of corn silks, Spanish moss, pine needles and glue into the shape of a bird's nest by pressing firmly in the center to create a bowl shape.
Allow the bird's nest to dry. Once it is hard to the touch, spray it with some outdoor wood protecting spray and place it in your garden.
