How to Make a Peanut Feeder for Squirrels

Instead of throwing rocks at squirrels that attack your bird feeders, make them their own feeder filled with peanuts, a favorite squirrel food. Such feeders provide protection for birds in that they will be able to safely feed in your yard without disruption from squirrels. It can also provide entertainment for children, watching squirrels hang on the feeder. Make a feeder by recycling paper goods, such as milk cartons. If you have some artistic ability, consider creating squirrel feeders for sale at craft fairs and flea markets.
