Spray the inside of a disposable pie pan with cooking spray to make it easier to release the pavers once complete. Prepare one pie plate for each paver you want.
Prepare a 5-pound batch of quickset concrete in a 5-gallon bucket according to the manufacturer’s directions. Add enough water to make the concrete the consistency of smooth pudding.
Transfer the concrete to the prepared pie plates. Fill the plates within 1/4 inch of the top. Tap the bottom of the plates on a table several times to remove any air bubbles.
Smooth and level the surface of the concrete with a trowel. Let the concrete sit undisturbed for six to eight hours.
Test the surface of the concrete. It should be soft enough to insert decorations but solid enough to hold its shape. If it is too soft, let it sit another one to two hours.
Set decorations on top of the paver to test placement. For example, use mosaic tiles and create a picture, place seashells in a random pattern or use glass beads to spell a name.
Press your chosen decorations down into the concrete. Press straight down until the item is level with the top surface of the concrete. Let the concrete dry for 72 hours.
Peel the sides of the pie plates away from the concrete pavers. Place the pavers out to set for another 72 hours before using.
