Instructions

    • 1

Purchase enough plastic plant saucers for each member of the family, unless you want to try reusing the saucers. Plastic plant saucers make cheap molds for stepping stones and come in a variety of sizes. However, if you want different shapes of stones, you can buy molds for stepping stones at craft stores and some home improvement stores.

    • 2

Place concrete mix into an old bucket and add enough water for the amount of dry mix, according to the directions on the prepared concrete package. Use the paint stir stick to combine mixture.

    • 3

Pour the concrete into the molds for stepping stones and smooth out with the paint stir stick.

    • 4

Carefully place one bare foot over the wet concrete. Slowly and evenly press your foot down making an impression in the stepping stone/garden plaque.

    • 5

Slowly lift your foot straight up out of the stepping stone and wash your foot.

    • 6

Repeat process, making garden plaques (stepping stones) for each individual in the family. Maybe even the pet will cooperate! Just be sure to thoroughly clean the concrete off each individuals foot completely.

    • 7

Allow garden plaques (stepping stones) to dry completely before removing from the containers.
