Instructions

  1. Mount a Bird House in a Few Easy Steps

    • 1

Locate the proper placement for your new bird house. Place the bird house in view of windows. This allows you to enjoy watching the birds as they fly about their new home. Paint an X in the grass using spray paint to mark the future placement of your new bird house.

    • 2

Flatten the bottom of the electrical conduit pipe using the heavy hammer. This helps prevent turning when the pipe is in the ground. Drive the pipe into the ground using a fence post driver.

    • 3

Drill 5/16-inch holes into the pipe and the back of the bird house. Use 1/4-inch bolts to secure the bird house to the pole.

    • 4

Grease the pipe with car wax to help ward off predators.
