Instructions

    • 1

Place the things you need in front of you on a clean and protected surface. Use a disposable tablecloth or newspaper to prevent paint from spilling on your furniture.

    • 2

Wipe the enamel pot down with a dust rag to remove any dust or debris from it.

    • 3

      Flip the pot upside down.

    • 4

Affix a stencil of your choice to the outside, enameled surface of the pot. Some ideas for kitchen-friendly designs are fruits, ivy vines, mushrooms or vegetables.

    • 5

Paint over the stencil, carefully, using acrylic paint colors of your choice and the appropriate sized paintbrush. For narrow parts of the stencil, a fine point paint brush is needed to keep the design looking neat.

    • 6

Allow the paint to dry for approximately 60 seconds before carefully peeling the stencil from the enamel pot.

    • 7

Rotate the pot and apply another stencil to the other side of it in the same manner as outlined in steps 4 through 6.

    • 8

Hold the can of enamel gloss spray approximately four inches from the surface of the enameled pot and spray a fine layer over the entire surface of the outer side of it. The clear enamel spray will coat the freshly painted designs and enamel of the pot, setting the design.
