Low-voltage landscape lighting, operated by a landscape transformer, can add beauty and safety to your yard and garden. Low-voltage transformers step household electrical current down from a 120-volt to a 12-volt current. A 12-volt current is much safer than 120 and doesn't require disconnecting the power when adding or removing low-voltage fixtures. Install your landscape transformer under an eave or on your porch to protect it from the weather.
