Directions for Garden Arches Made Out of Rebar

Concrete reinforcing rods, known as rebar, are an important component of concrete construction projects. The reinforcing rods may be made as stakes or as a mesh net. Their presence in concrete walls helps to take the weight of the concrete building and prevent the concrete from crumbling. In the garden, the mesh design of rebar panels make it suitable for trellis projects such as a garden arch. The sturdy construction of rebar will support heavier vegetables such as melons in addition to lighter vines, such as morning glories or clematis.
