How to Replace a 12V 88-Watt Landscape Lighting Transformer

Low-voltage lighting needs a transformer to step down the house voltage from 120-volts to 12-volts. Low-voltage transformers are available in different wattage from 44-watts up to 900-watts to operate your landscape lighting. The more wattage your transformer produces, the more low-voltage fixtures you can add, increasing the wattage of the fixtures for more light output.
