Instructions

    • 1

Wrap the tape measure around the cardboard concrete forming tube. Tape the tape measure to the tube to hold it. With a pencil, draw a line under the tape measure all around the tube. Remove the tape measure and place it three to four inches above the circle and draw another line. Repeat until you reach the top of the tube.

    • 2

Cut the cardboard tube into sections using a knife or saw to make the molds for your decorative stones. Follow the circular line you created and cut as straight as you can.

    • 3

Mix the concrete according to the directions on the packaging into a large pail or container. Keep mixing until the consistency of the concrete is like pastry dough.

    • 4

Cut five to six garbage bags in half, flatten and place them on the ground. Arrange the concrete forming rings on the garbage bags making sure they are spread out.

    • 5

Pour the concrete mixture into all of the concrete forming rings. Place the decorative objects into the concrete and press down gently until they sink in halfway. Avoid pressing too hard or the object will completely sink. If this happens, quickly remove it from the concrete, wash with water and replace.

    • 6

Cut away the cardboard concrete forming rings with a knife and discard, after the stepping stones have been left undisturbed to harden overnight.

    • 7

Place your stepping stones in your garden, front lawn or anywhere they can be seen and enjoyed.
