ShelterLogic is a Connecticut manufacturer of tents, garages and party canopies. The company's Celebration Canopy could be daunting when you peer into the bag, but worry not: Putting it together will require organization and a thorough mindset, but it won't require advanced degrees. Instructions

    • 1

Set your four-way top connector joint for the roof apex on the ground, and line up all the four sections of poles that will run from it, each labeled "14008." Connect the sections to the joint with the hook-and-eye closures.

    • 2

Place a peace symbol-shaped four-way joint labeled "14003" at the end of each of section. Extend from this section a "14009" and a "14008." Cap off these pole sections with a six-way corner connector labeled "14005." You should have a giant "X." Place all the sections together firmly.

    • 3

Make four T-shaped pole sections to finish your roof frame. The top of the "T" will be a "14002" three-way connector joining two "14010" poles. The bottom of the "T" will be a "14007," and then a "14008" pole section. At the bottom, place a "14006" side connector. Place these parts together, and slide each of your four T sections into the four-way connectors at the midway point on your main roof frame, with the six-way side connector facing away from the apex.

    • 4

Make 16 poles consisting of a "14004" and a "14011" pole section. Insert two of these poles between each corner and side roof connector, all around your ShelterLogic canopy. Use your rubber mallet to hammer tight your roof's corner connections.

    • 5

Put all the leg poles on one side of the roof, and then move to the other. Each pole will consist of a "14012" on top and a "10392" on the bottom. Make sure all your pole sections are firmly connected by hand.

    • 6

Take your canopy skeleton to precisely where you want it to be located, and insert each leg pole into a foot plate, aligning the holes on the pole and foot plate. Slide a pin labeled "10052" through each hole on each leg pole.

    • 7

Slide two anchors, at least, through the holes in each foot plate into the soil, if the canopy will be on soft ground.

    • 8

Throw your canopy over the roof frame and connect it at each corner and side. Insert the attached hooks into the holes on the top of the leg poles at each corner. Enclose the side poles in the canvas cover's internal straps and cinch them tight.
