How to: Installation of the Belt on John Deere L100 Lawn Mower

The John Deere L100 lawn mower, basic in design stands true to the John Deere tradition us using a suspended mower deck mounted to the bottom of a lawn tractor. This process requires the use of a drive belt to run the mower deck. John Deere uses an idler pulley to maintain proper belt tension. This means, you will get long life from your drive belt. However, once the belt starts to rot, you must replace it with a new one.
