How to Disable the Reverse Safety Switch on a 3185 Cub Cadet

Cub Cadet is an American company that specializes in manufacturing lawn mowers and riding tractors, including the 3185 Cub Cadet. The 3185 has adjustable tilt steering and a fairly tight turning radius. When mowing around obstacles in crowded areas, this may not be enough. Operators of 3185s may want to move backward without having to disengage the blades. The backup safety switch automatically disengaging the blades when the mower is put in reverse, but this safety feature can be disabled.
