# How to Mount a Sears Lawn Tractor Bagger
Sears Craftsman has been manufacturing their products since the 1920s and today sells a full line of lawn tractors to suit a variety of lawn care needs. Many lawn tractors come with a bagger attachment that can be used to collect and contain grass clippings as it is cut. Using this attachment often saves users valuable time since the bagger attachment takes away the chore of raking grass after mowing. A grass bagger can be attached or removed to suit its owners needs.

Shut the lawn mower off and remove the key so that it cannot be accidentally started while you are working on it.

Place the two included latch hooks up next to the mulcher plate and attach them using a screw, washer, lock washer and a weld nut on each.

Pull up the deflector shield and keep it held up.

Position the mulcher plate on top of the front portion of the mower deck opening and slide it on.

Place the front latch into the hole in the front of mower deck to secure the mulcher plate onto it.

Secure the mulcher plate in the back by hooking the rear latch into the hole on the rear of the mower deck.
