How to Put the Deck on a Husky Lawnmower

Rotate the mower suspension arms toward the front of the mower then slide the mower deck under the mower so that the mower deck rests under the mower in a centered position.

Position yourself on the right side of the mower then slide the anti-sway arm through the round hole in the transmission bracket. Turn the anti-sway bar toward the right side of the mower then place the other end of the bar into the round hole near the rear mower bracket.

Set the mower suspension arms over the chassis pins, then place a washer over the pin and secure the retaining spring to the pin. Do this on the left and right sides of the mower deck.

Lift the rear of the mower deck until the hole on the lift links lines up with the pins on the rear mower bracket. Place a washer on the pin then secure it with the retaining spring. Do this on the right and left sides of the mower.

Position yourself at the front left of the mower then slide the link rod assembly through the front hole in the mower and into the deck. Secure the rod to the mower with the spring retainer.

Release the belt tension rod on the mower deck then slide the mower deck belt over the drive pulley mounted under the engine. Engage the belt tension rod on the mower deck.
