How to Get to the Carburetor on a John Deere JX75 Mower

The John Deere JX75 was a walk-behind self-propelled lawn mower. The JX75 was equipped with a Kawasaki 6-horsepower, four-stroke, gasoline engine. The JX75 was fitted with an aluminum 21-inch cutting deck, versus the industry standard steel deck. The deck had a simple side chute, but was available with a stopper (mulching mode), and a rear bagging system. The carburetor on the JX75 is located near the front of the engine, and is accessed one of two ways. The JX75 has two different air filtration units based on the serial number, either of which must be removed to access the carburetor.
