Instructions

    • 1

Check the fuel level in your Murray 20 3-in-1 lawn mower. Add gas if needed.

    • 2

Open the front engine hood and check the spark plug. There should be a thin, black cable near the front of the engine assembly that attaches to this plug. Reconnect it to the spark plug, if necessary.

    • 3

Disconnect the plug wire from the spark plug and remove the plug, if the Murray 20 3-in-1 lawn mower will crank, but still won't start. Insert a new spark plug and connect the plug wire to it. This should aid in ignition of the machine.

Check the grounding wire if the Murray 20 3-in-1 lawn mower starts but has been refusing to stop when you attempt to cut the engine with your keys. Follow the spark plug's wire to the back of the Murray's engine assembly, where you will find the circular magnetic coil. Beside this is the grounding wire. Ensure this wire is plugged into the plug beside the coil. If it is not, reconnect it.
