# How to Disengage the Drive on a Bolens Huskee
The Bolens Huskee is a riding lawn tractor manufactured by MTD Products. If you are not used to operating a riding mower, working the Bolens Huskee may take a little getting used to. The brake and clutch combine on one foot pedal. To start or shift the lawn tractor into a forward gear, you must fully depress the brake/clutch. Likewise, you must push in the clutch to disengage the drive.

Depress the brake-clutch pedal with your left foot to bring the Huskee to a stop.

Pull the PTO lever on the right rear fender to disengage the blade deck lever as your foot holds in the clutch-brake pedal.

Pull the shift lever, located on the left rear fender adjacent to the seat, to the neutral position. This will disengage the Huskee's drive. At this point, if you have pushed the brake all the way down into the locked position, you can can dismount the tractor to empty the bagger.
