How to Time a Kohler L654

The L-654 is a gas-engine manufactured by Kohler that is used as a marine back-up generator. The gas engine requires servicing, like oil and filter changes from time to time. If the idle seem to be running either too high or too low, it can be adjusted by moving the idle adjustment screw near the carburetor. Adjusting the Kohler idle is a process that can be done in less than 15 minutes.
