How to Adjust a BCS Cutter Bar

The BCS sickle bar is a heavy-duty mower primarily designed for use in rural areas where large pieces of land may be overgrown. The cutter bar on these mowers is strong and its height can also be adjusted to ensure accurate mowing. The height can be adjusted right from the main controls and it can be raised or lowered about 2 inches depending on the kind of work that needs done.

Instructions

    • 1

Power off your BCS mower and locate the lever at the base of the handlebar assembly. This is the height adjustment lever.

    • 2

Pull the adjustment lever out to raise the height of the cutter bar to cut more overgrown areas of land.

    • 3

Push the lever in and the cutter bar will lower. This is ideal for edging or cutting corners.
