How to Change Tires on a Sears Craftsman Riding Lawn Mower

Sears Craftsman riding lawn mowers come in a wide range of models, with varying levels of horsepower and a range of available features. The tires are connected to the mower the same way for each model. If a tire runs over a sharp object and becomes flat, it will need to be replaced with a new tire. The tires will also wear down over time and will need to be changed.

Instructions

    • 1

Park the Sears Craftsman lawn mower on a level surface. Set the parking brake.

    • 2

Place a wood block behind the tires on the side that is not being worked on.

Place the jack under the axle closest to the tire being changed. Lift the jack until the tire is not touching the ground.
