Troy-Bilt is an American company that specializes in manufacturing riding and push lawn mowers. However, the company also manufactures snow blowers that are used to clear snow-packed driveways and sidewalks in the winter. The Troy-Bilt blower uses a hex rod, also known as the chute rod, to control the direction of the snow blower's chute either to the left or right. On the Troy-Bilt, the shift rod is comprised of two sections - the lower and upper shift rod.
