How to Put a Snowplow on a Roper Tractor

One of the most dreaded aspects of winter weather is snow removal. Shoveling snow requires a lot of time and energy. If you already have a Roper tractor, it makes sense to install a snowplow on it to make snow removal a quick and easy task. Be certain you have chosen a snowplow attachment that is compatible with your tractor. If it is compatible, it should list your tractor's model on the packaging.

Instructions

    • 1

Park the Roper tractor on a level surface. Cement works best.

    • 2

Place the snowplow attachment right-side up in front of the tractor on the ground.

    • 3

Lay out all of the spacers, nuts and bolts that came with your attachment.

    • 4

Lift the snowplow attachment up to the front of the tractor. Slide enough spacers between the attachment and the tractor so that the attachment fits against the tractor tightly.

    • 5

Push the bolts through the attachment, spacers and tractor frame and then attach the nuts to the bolts. Use a wrench to tighten them.
