Instructions

    • 1

Open the engine cover to access the engine. Locate the fuel filter, directly next to the air intake and throttle body assemblies.

    • 2

Remove the hose clamps from the fuel filter using a flat-head screwdriver. Slide the clamps down the lines and off of the the filter ends.

    • 3

Remove the fuel filter lines from the filter by simply pulling them off with your hands. If the fuel line cracks or seems really dry and brittle, replace your fuel lines.

    • 4

Install the new fuel filter ends into the fore and aft fuel lines. Make sure your fuel filter directional arrow is pointing toward the throttle body. Tighten the hose clamps until they are snug with the flat-head screwdriver. No torque is necessary, and excess tightening can cause the new fuel filter ends to break.
