How to Remove the Wheel Adjuster Bearing From a Self-Propelled Mower

If you want to cut the lawn very short, or leave some length shortly after seeding, the wheel-height adjuster on each wheel of a self-propelled push lawn mower can be adjusted to the needed height. The wheel adjuster, which is moved by hand, moves back and forth due to a small bearing inside the lever mechanism. If the bearing gets corroded or rusted, the height adjuster can stick. If this happens, the old bearing should be removed and a new one installed.
