How to Fold Lawn Mower Ramps

Many people who use lawn mowers as a way to supplement their income, or who cut an elderly parent’s or neighbor’s lawn, need to load their lawn mower into a truck for transportation. Lawn mower ramps enable you to load the machine into the back of a truck as needed. The ramps are useful for loading riding or push mowers, ATVs or other small vehicles, but folding the ramps is often a challenge. The ramps are made of a heavy metal and come in different widths and weight capacities.

     Lift up on the part of the lawn mower ramp that is touching the ground.

     Step forward while lifting up on the ramp end at the same time.

     Walk forward until the ramp is folded in half. Release the safety straps or rubber grips from the truck bed. Slide the folded ramp into the truck bed either behind the lawn mower or along the sides of the truck bed.

     Repeat the method with the other ramp.
