How to Attach Ariens Lawn Mower Handles

Ariens is a company that makes several different outdoor products, such as lawn tractors, tillers, edgers, snow blowers and walk-behind mowers. Ariens lawn mowers require some assembly before you can start them. The side bag must be hooked onto the mower, if your model is equipped with one, and the handles must be secured in the proper position. Getting the mower handles attached and ready to use is not a complex chore.

     Set the lawn mower on the ground on its wheels.

     Grasp the handle at the top, and fold it into the upright position.

   • 3

     Position the holes located at the bottom of the braces over the top of the pins on the bracket, so the handlebar assembly is at your desired height.

     Pull the speed control rod back, then pull the braces out from the bracket to fold the handlebars back up for storage. Lean the handlebars forward, ensuring the control rod is not bent.
