How to Install New Steering Clutches in a John Deere 350-B Dozer

The 350-B is a heavy-duty, crawler-style bulldozer that was manufactured by John Deere from the 1970s into the mid-1980s. The 350-B featured a gas-powered, 2.5-liter 3-cylinder, 152-cubic-inch engine. The steering on the dozer is controlled by a pair of steering clutches. If the clutch begins to engage roughly or will not engage at all, it is likely that the steering clutches need to be replaced. They are round metal plates that fit inside the steering box, near the spring plate and hub.
