How to Bleach the Lawn for Hookworms

Hookworms are parasites that can infest cats, dogs and even humans. These parasites have hooks that help them attach to their hosts and feed on them. Your pet can get infected with hookworms by eating larvae-infested soil or feces. Another way for your pet to pick up the infection is by eating other animals, such as mice, that have a hookworm infection. One way to avoid exposure to hookworm infection is to bleach your lawn. The bleach removes the hookworm eggs' outer coatings, so that they get exposed and die.
