Insert the supplied Mini 8 rotor key into the pull-up keyhole located on the North-most point of the spray head. Twist the key a quarter turn and pull up on it to expose the nozzle opening.
Remove the key from the pull-up keyhole and insert it into the radius adjustment screw on the top-right side of the spray head. Twist the screw to the left or counterclockwise, until the inserted nozzle comes loose or the bottom of the screw leaves the nozzle opening. Insert the key into the right edge of the nozzle and pull the nozzle out. Insert the desired nozzle into the opening and twist the radius screw to the right or clockwise to tighten it into place.
Place the flat of your hand on the top of the spray head and hold the stem sturdy with the other. Twist the spray head completely to the right until it stops and then twist it back to the left until it stops. This is the fixed left edge and it can't be adjusted. Align the fixed left edge with the leftmost point of the Mini 8 watering area when installing the sprinkler.
Insert the mini rotor key into the arc adjuster, located on the top-left side of the spray head, and hold the spray head in place as you twist the key to expand or narrow the rotation range. Following the indicators on the spray head, twist the key clockwise, until the arrow at the center of the spray head points to the desired arc. Twist the key counterclockwise to make the rotation range smaller. The arc can be adjusted to any angle between 45 and 360 degrees.
Twist the housing canister, if possible, to align the fixed left edge with the left-most edge of the watering area, if you need to align the left edge after the sprinkler is installed. An alternate method is to insert the rotor key into the pull-up keyhole, twist the key a quarter turn and pull the stem up. Grasp and turn only the lower portion of the riser, until the left edge is aligned with the left-most edge of the lawn.
