Instructions for a Gilmore Nomix Sprayer

Keeping insects and unwanted plants out of your lawn or garden can be a chore. There are chemicals you can use, but applying them can be tough. The Gilmore Nomix sprayer was made to help with this task, allowing you to pour in a chemical such as insecticide or weed killer and spray it. You will not need to mix the chemicals with water - this will occur as you use the sprayer.

Instructions

      Pour the chemical that you wish to use into the container that comes with the sprayer. You do not need to add water to the container. Fill the container up to the "Fill" line printed on it and then screw the top of the container onto the opening on the bottom of the sprayer.

      Connect one end of the garden hose to a water source. Attach the other hose end of to the connector on the back of the sprayer. Turn the "Mixing" dial to the corresponding teaspoons per gallon for the mixture of water and chemical you want to use. This mixture can be found on the chemical container.

      Turn the nozzle on the front of the sprayer to the type of spray you wish to use with the arrow pointing to the appropriate symbols. These symbols represent "Stream," "Deflector" or "Spray." When you are ready to start, turn on the water source.

      Gently pull the trigger on the sprayer to begin spraying the chemical. Move slowly while spraying to cover a larger area, taking care not to trip or fall over the hose. When finished, remove the container from the bottom of the sprayer and pull the trigger to flush it out with water. Turn off the hose and detach it from the sprayer.
