How to Troubleshoot the Aqua Bot Turbo T4RC

A swimming pool may seem like a dream purchase; your own private area to party, relax or exercise in, as well as a symbol of luxury. Yet, this dream purchase can become something of a nightmare when you consider the constant cost of maintenance of the pool -- especially if you can't afford someone to carry out the upkeep for you. This is where the Aqua Bot Turbo T4RC comes in, a pool-roving robot that will clean your pool in an hour -- assuming that it is operating properly.

Instructions

    • 1

Ensure that no water has got inside the machine, which could impair the operation of the AquaBot. Check this by shaking the machine. If you can hear any water then drain it out. Close the floating handle securely in place at the top of the product to make sure no more water can get in.

    • 2

Remove objects from the water that could confuse or obstruct the machine. The robot works in sweeping motions from left to right, so ensure ladders are up, toys are moved out of the way and the robot has a clear path.

    • 3

Ensure that the motor pump is operating properly by observing the machine in the water. It is also important that the drive belts and track are correctly aligned and tightly mounted; if any of these elements are posing problems, take the machine to an expert or dealer.

    • 4

Inspect the brushes. You will receive poor traction from brushes which are worn down or stiff bristles -- which can occur in water below 70 degrees Fahrenheit -- so they may need to be replaced for the machine to work to maximum capacity.
