How to Water Tucson Turf

With hefty lawn maintenance fees and the high cost of frequent water use, artificial turf is gaining in popularity. Not only do synthetic lawns eliminate the need for mowing, they also require no watering. Tucson Turf is an Arizona-based company that offers waterless lawns. However, there are times when you may want to water this artificial turf. For instance, if a pet urinates on the lawn or it begins to look dull over time, cleaning is necessary and also quite easy to do.

Instructions

    • 1

Spray your turf. Grab the water hose and spray any area that needs to be cleaned. Tucson Turf is porous so drainage is not an issue.

    • 2

Pour white vinegar on stains. If a dog has urinated, the vinegar will treat and deodorize the area. Rinse with the water hose.

    • 3

Use a pressure washer. If the Tucson Turf seems dull and dirty, apply water with a pressure washer. Add a cleaner to the pressure washer, such as liquid dishwashing soap, but be sure to test a small area before washing the entire lawn. Follow with a clean water rinsing to remove all soap.
