Instructions

    • 1

Dig a trench between eight and 12 inches deep that travels from the old sprinkler position to the new area you would like it to be. Make sure your sprinkler system is off during this time.

    • 2

Unscrew the head of the sprinkler from its rising body. Then unscrew the rising body of the sprinkler to remove the whole sprinkler for the move.

    • 3

Insert an elbow of flex pipe into the existing tee that controls the rising of the sprinklers. Tighten the two together until it is hand tight.

    • 4

Attach a 3/8 inch flex pipe into the elbow. This is done by sliding it over the nipple. The flex pipe is smaller in diameter so it should slide nicely into place.

    • 5

Put together another flex pipe elbow at the other end of the pipe. This elbow will allow for the new sprinkler to be placed onto it. Place the sprinkler head on the elbow and tighten it until it is hand tight.

    • 6

Use your hands to hold the sprinkler in place while you fill in the ground around the sprinkler. Make sure you keep the sprinkler head secure as you fill in the ground. After the area directly around the sprinkler head is secure, you can fill in the trench as well.
