Select a time for applying the natural herbicide when the grass is dry, there is little wind to cause drift, and no rain is predicted for at least one hour.
Determine the grass to be eradicated and evaluate the impact of the herbicide spray on surrounding plants. Although the spray is made from natural products and is safe for pets and people, the spray is non-selective in regard to vegetation and can kill other plants that it contacts.
Adjust the nozzle on the pre-mixed spray bottle to the desired pattern. Choose a stream flow for precise application of the spray or a wide-flow pattern to disperse the spray over a larger area.
Spray the natural herbicide onto the blades of grass so they are completely coated.
Observe the dieback of the grass for several hours to determine any areas that need an second application. Wait 24 hours until the grass is dead before continuing with the project.
