Fill a large bowl with your favorite salad mixture and keep track of how many cups you add. The amount of salad you use will determine how much dressing you need to make.
Combine 3 parts extra virgin olive oil and 1 part vinegar in a small bowl. For every 2 cups of salad, make 1 tbsp. of dressing, which is equal to 3/4 tbsp. of olive oil and 1/4 tbsp. of vinegar.
Whisk the olive oil and vinegar together until they are thoroughly mixed, anywhere from one to three minutes, depending on the amount of liquid. Add salt to taste.
Add 2 tbsp. of flaxseed to the dressing and mix it with the whisk for five seconds.
Pour the dressing over the salad. Toss the salad to incorporate the dressing.
