Aero Garden Instructions

Find an out-of-the-way location with a power outlet close by. As of 2011, all types of the AeroGarden require electricity.

Assemble the AeroGarden, according to the instructions in the box. Each model may be slightly different.

Add water and the nutrient tablets to the basin. Insert the specialized bulbs, called grow lights, into the slots on the bottom of the hood. Push the hood into place, if you haven't already. Push the seed pod into each hole.

Plug the AeroGarden into the outlet and set the dial to the setting appropriate for your seeds.

Place the biodome over each plant. Remove when the plant grows taller than an inch. The biodome helps the plants grow faster.

Check the water level every three days or so. Add more water and nutrient tablets as necessary.

Harvest the vegetables or herbs or enjoy the beauty of the flowers you planted.

Remove the spent seed sponges. Empty the basin. Add 1/4 cup of chlorine beach to the basin filled three quarters with water. Set it to "Salad Greens" and the bleach mixture cycles through the machine. Clean the surfaces with water and bleach. Empty. Add clean water to the AeroGarden. Let it cycle through to remove the bleach. Repeat.

Press new seed sponges into the slots. Add nutrient tablets and water to the basin. Set the AeroGarden to the correct setting and begin growing your next set of plants.
