Insert the pH electrode and the temperature probe into the BNC and temperature ports found at the top of the HI 9025C.
Turn the meter on by holding down the "ON/OFF" button for a fraction of a second.
Measure the pH of the water by filling a measuring cup with at least 4 ½ centimeters or 1 1/2 inches of sample water, removing the cap of the pH electrode and submerging the tip into the cup. Press the "RANGE" key until the display shows "pH Mode."
Ensure that the pH measurement is as accurate as possible by factoring the temperature into the calculation. Tap the "RANGE" key until the display shows "Temperature Mode." Dip the probe into the measuring cup and press the "CAL" key to see the temperature compensated pH value.
Soak the probes in Hanna HI 7061 or 8061 for 30 minutes to clean them after conducting your measurements.
