Hold the glass container in one hand. Press the end of a length of fine copper wire to the bottom of the glass container and hold it against the container with the same hand that is holding the container. Cover the bottom of the container and the wire with clear hot glue, but leave an inch of the wire hanging down from the bottom of the container.
Slide a decorative bead -- or use more than one bead -- onto the inch of wire dangling from the bottom of the container. Bend the wire up and over the bead to secure it, and clip off any excess wire.
Grasp the container firmly in one hand, and use your other hand to wrap the rest of the wire around the container. Work your way up the container in a spiral pattern, or create a different design of your choice. Secure it occasionally with another dab of hot glue. Press a glass bead into each dab of hot glue to add a decorative touch.
Fashion a hanger for your plant rooter when you reach the top of the container. Wrap the remaining length of wire around a pencil for a curly hanger, and then bend it over the top of the container and secure it to the other side. Clip off any excess wire.
Fill the plant rooter about half full of water, and then insert the stem of the plant cutting into the water. Remove any leaves that will be below the surface of the water. Hang the rooter in a warm, sunny window.
