A string trimmer is a power garden tool used for trimming weeds around the edges of your garden, walkway, driveway or other landscaped areas. The trimmer has a cutting head that houses the plastic string. The head turns quickly, and this is what gives the string its cutting power. If your string becomes tangled or you run out, you will need to remove the head to refill or replace it.
