Position two 1-by-4-by-19-inch boards on a flat surface along with the 1-by-4-by-8 1/2-inch boards. Create a rectangular box with the boards.
Secure the frame boards to each other with a small amount of wood glue. Nail the boards with 4-penny finish nails for added security.
Place the 19-by-10-by-1/2-inch boards against the bottom of the wood frame to form the base of the push cart. Attach the base with wood glue and nails.
Insert a drill bit that is the same size as the casters. Create a hole in each corner of the bottom of the push cart. Attach the casters to the bottom of the push cart and secure the casters to the push cart.
Allow enough time for the wood glue to dry. Read the label on the wood glue to determine the allotted drying time.
Turn over the push cart so it is upright. Affix the metal handle to the push cart's front by referring to the manufacturer's instructions. Use the screws provided with the metal handle to secure the handle to the push cart.
