How to Replace a Belt on a Craftsman Mower 46-Inch 18.5 Horsepower

Riding mowers have a belt that runs from the front of the machine to the mower deck. The belt controls the motion of the mower blades. The belt on your Craftsman 46-inch, 18.5 HP machine will eventually wear out, stretch and break. According to the owner's manual, the 46-inch Craftsman mower deck cannot be adjusted. When the belt wears down it needs to be replaced completely. Contact Craftsman for a new belt.
