Loosen both of the bar nuts on the clutch cover with the wrench. Take the bar nuts off and lift away the clutch cover. Slide the bar and chain away from the bar posts and drive sprocket.
Lift the chain away from the guide bar. Turn the guide bar over, to use the other side as the top. Fit the replacement chain, with teeth angled forward, around the tip of the bar. Fit the drive links of the chain into the drive slots on both sides of the bar.
Loop the rear of the chain around the drive sprocket and set the bar and chain gently down onto the bar posts. Hold the bar and chain while fitting the clutch cover and both bar nuts. Tighten the bar nuts until they are finger tight.
Tighten the bar tensioner screw, on the front of the saw, until the chain is tight against the bar with the screwdriver. Tighten both bar nuts with the wrench. Check the chain to make sure it is properly tensioned against the bar.
