Check that the wand of the washer is set on the "High" pressure setting.
Determine the water pressure of your home. It needs to be at least 5 gallons per minute and 20 pounds per square inch, or psi.
Inspect the high pressure hose for leaks. Tighten the nut on the hose using a wrench if loose. Remove the hose and apply plumber's tape to the the threads if the leak does not stop.
Check the end of the nozzle for signs of dirt or other obstructions.
Pull out the water filter screen and inspect it for signs of obstructions. Clean the screen with water.
Turn off the engine and disconnect the machine from the water source. Turn the water source on to remove all air from the hose. Reconnect the hose.
Inspect the choke handle. Set it in the "No Choke" position if it is in choke. Set the throttle control to the "Fast" position.
