How to Measure Pressure Washer Fittings

If you need a new fitting for your pressure washer, you'll need to measure the width and length of the current one. Remove the old fitting and take it to your local home construction supply store so you get the right one.

      Unscrew or remove the current pressure washer fitting from your pressure washer unit.

      Measure the length of the fitting, or thread.

      Measure across the opening of the fitting, where it fits onto the pressure washer unit.

      Compare your measurements to charts that indicate the size of the thread of pressure washer fittings.
