The Holder C500 diesel tractor featured a four-way, 7-foot long blade, a box salt spreader, a blower, a mower and full hydraulics. It had four-wheel drive and a heated cab for the driver. As of 2011, a used Holder C500 was listed for $7,500 with the Yesterday's Tractor Company.
The Holder C500 could reach speeds of up to 16 mph or 25 km/h in low gear. This compact tractor contained a fast gearbox that could reach a maximum speed of 19 mph or 30km/h in high gear, according to Yesterday's Tractors.
A Holder C500 compact tractor weighed between 4,500 and 5,500 pounds, according to UShip. A snow-blower attachment added an additional 1,500 pounds, and a plow added 250 pounds. The C500 was 13 feet long, 5 feet wide and 7 feet in height. A used C500 was listed on UShip for between $1,563 and $1,773, as of 2011.
Although originally produced for agricultural purposes, the Holder C500 was used by municipalities, large institutions, property maintenance firms, landscape firms, vineyards, plantations and forest management companies.
