How to Start a Husqvarna 125B

The Husqvarna 125B is a hand-held leaf blower, ideal for homeowners with less than a half-acre of land. The 125B can clear leaves off your driveway, sidewalk and walkways easily with its 170 mph air speed. The blower tubes can be adjusted to give you greater accuracy or a wider airstream to blow more leaves at once. The 125B has a two-stroke engine that runs on a 50-to-1 ratio of fuel to oil.

Instructions

    • 1

Fill the leaf blower's gas tank with the two-stroke, 50 to1 fuel-to-oil mixture. Make sure the auto return stop switch is in the "On" position.

    • 2

Press the primer bulb at least 10 times to begin the fuel flow into the carburetor. Press the air purge button to remove air from the carburetor. This will allow the engine to start easier.

    • 3

Slide the blue choke lever to the left in the "Full Choke" closed position.

    • 4

Hold the leaf blower on the ground with your left hand. Slightly pull the starter cord until you feel the recoil pulley engage. Quickly pull the starter cord to start the leaf blower. You may have to pull the cord a couple times. If it doesn't start after a couple pulls, move the choke lever to the middle position and try again.

    • 5

Let the engine warm up for approximately 10 seconds. Move the choke lever all the way to the right in the "Off Choke" open position. Push and release the "Stop" switch button to turn off the leaf blower.
