Instructions

    • 1

Spray the concrete garden ornament with a garden hose fitted with a spray nozzle to remove dust and dirt particles. Pour a bed of pebbles to form a surface for the ornament to prevent moisture from trapping in the concrete during drying periods. Place the ornament on the bed of pebbles out of direct sunlight and allow to dry overnight.

    • 2

Open the can of concrete sealer, using a paint can opener to pry around the edges of the lid. Stir gently to release air bubbles and thoroughly mix the sealant.

    • 3

Dip a foam art brush into the sealant and apply a thin coat to the ornament. Leave the bottom of the ornament where it rests on the ground unsealed. Use the corner of the foam brush to work sealant into tight areas.

    • 4

Look the ornament over for areas where the sealant has been completely absorbed and re-coat as necessary. Allow the ornament to dry for 24 hours. Keep dust and other fine particles away from the ornament during the drying time.
