Alice In Wonderland Theme

• Create an Alice In Wonderland theme in a corner of your garden. So many of Lewis Carroll's fascinating characters lend themselves well to garden statues. An example is the Wonderland garden of Larnach Castle in New Zealand, where visitors can search for the Cheshire Cat, admire the pink Queen of Hearts' chair, and puzzle over the Curious Door. Alice, the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter are among the most popular characters, so these garden statues are generally easy to find, online and in garden stores. Take pages out of the book when creating garden scenes of Wonderland. The famous tea party scene is fun to recreate with an old garden table that you can paint. They are endearing, painted pottery figures, little old men with bushy, white beards, wearing pointy caps and working clothes. Their reputation for integrity and hard work precedes them. Gnomes represent the charm of "the old country" and old-fashioned fairy tales. A gathering of garden gnomes would make a delightful garden theme.
